He also appeared on television as the sports representative, in a documentary about Indian Health foods & their application to people in various jobs.

A bit of history............
Leigh was born in England but his folks immigrated to South Africa when he was 3yrs old. He was educated there and very soon became recognised as a natural sportsman, specialising in Rugby. This led to his decision to move back to England when he was 21 to make the most of opportunities over here.

He played rugby for the Bank of England and also became a personal trainer in one of London’s major fitness centres. Due to a serious rugby injury he had to give it up but pursued his second sport - cricket. He is a fast bowler and a very hard hitting batsman. He coaches cricket at Ealing Cricket Club in West London, & plays in their first team , who have just won the Middlesex Premier League for the sixth consecutive year! In the Winter season he also coaches rugby.

Shane was a special guest. He did a number with the band, and got Hayley & Leigh up to sing with him.

We did a major transformation of the banqueting suite at the Hotel, putting in a starcloth roof, special lighting, & black & white dance floor This matched Hayley & Leigh's chosen theme of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.'
